Tips for managing anxiety

Do you know what is the meaning of anxiety..? Anxiety is a common emotion when dealing with daily stresses and problems. But when these emotions are persistent, excessive and irrational, and affect a person’s ability to function, anxiety becomes a disorder. There are different types of anxiety disorders, including phobias, panic and stress disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. 

And how do we know that we might be have an anxiety..? The symptoms of anxiety is just like : -
  • Apprehension
  • feel confusion
  • on edge
  • a sense of helplessness
  • repeated the negative thoughts
  • have a muscle tension
  • palpitations
  • difficulty of breathing

So, here's the tips how to manage the anxiety...

Try four-seven-eight breathing - One of the first things that hit you when you're anxious is shortness of breath. By forcing yourself to breathe well, you can often control your anxiety too. Breathe in for four seconds and breathe out for eight seconds. If this is too long, try four-six-four.

Get a check-up - If you think you're having a heart attack or some other health issue, Googling it will make it worse as the internet has a way of making a simple cold like Ebola. See the doctor for help. Most likely you can put away one stress factor properly.

Find your triggers - Very often, there are specific things that set off anxiety attacks. It may be a specific situation or a combination of lack of sleep and an improper diet..

Hope this tips may help you to manage the anxiety.. But mostly please refer direct to the doctor or specialist doctor...

  4. saya ada pernah terbaca.. sebenarnya anxiety ni ada kat semua orang cuma tahap kental seseorang buat kuat atau tak nak hadapi anxiety tu. dan dia appear dalam pelbagai keadaan.. hurm.. jgn main2 bab anxiety ni.. semak mental health sendiri dan orang2 sekeliling yang kita sayang..
